On this page
you'll find programs and other resources that you'll probably find
quite useful.
- Animget
(.zip)
- Animget is a wonderful tool for sprite ripping.
Once you start using it, you'll wonder how you lived without
it. This program basically takes screenshots at a ridiculously
fast rate, but only saves them if the image on the screen
has changed from the previous image it took. For a better
explanation, check out the ripping tutorial on this
very site.
- Tile
Molester (.zip)
- Despite its somewhat disturbing name, this
is my personal favorite tile-viewing program (and the only
one I've had any considerable success with). You need the
java runtime environment installed on your computer to use
it. DualEdge has written an awesome tutorial for using this
program, which you can check out by clicking
here. I have no problem hosting this here, since
the original author seems to have disappeared off the face
of the planet.
- Tile
Molester Alternate Version (.zip)
- This is another version of Tile Molester
that is slightly modified from the original version, and includes
support for GBA pallette files. It's not nearly as stable
as the regular version, so keep the zip file around.
- GGD (.zip)
If you've got any suggestions for
stuff to add to this page, feel free to notify me. Just keep in
mind that the file size should be reasonable.
